Economic Development
The economic development division serves as a clearinghouse for information and development opportunities in Ellisville. The City Manager, City Planner and Assistant City Manager are dedicated to ensuring prompt, immediate responses to all business queries. Once, a business had decided to invest in Ellisville, the City Planner can serve as the liaison between the business and all City departments, ensuring a smooth development process, if needed. Staff is experienced with working with numerous sized businesses from national firms to local ‘mom and pop’ start-ups. Prosecuting Attorney
The City's Prosecuting Attorney, acting as an agent of the City, is responsible for prosecuting defendants in Ellisville Municipal Court. Ordinance violations may be brought to the Prosecuting Attorney via citations or interested persons. The City may pursue charges at the Prosecuting Attorney’s discretion.
