Emphasis is placed on sportsmanship and learning basic skills while having fun! Please note that swim team is not a substitute for swim lessons. Wildwood residents will receive resident rate for Swim Team.

Work Assignments

In order for meets to run smoothly, each family is required to work 3 meets, in addition to conference meets (if your child participates). Each family will be required to drop off (3) $75 checks to the Park Administration Office. Your checks will only be cashed if you do not fulfill your work assignments.

Parent Meeting

There will be a NEW parents meeting on Tuesday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Park Administration Center in Bluebird Park. At this meeting, parents will meet the parent reps and coaches, will be given a detailed schedule and other important information, and will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Assessments

All swimmers will be assessed during the 1st week of practice. During the assessments, swimmers may not stop and/or grab the wall or lap lane. We do not expect your swimmer to have a perfect stroke. These steps are taken for safety precautions and we want to ensure your swimmer is able to meet the requirements needed for practices and meets. If your swimmer is not able to meet the specific skills required, a full refund will be given.
