[ARCHIVED] Sleigh Ride to the North Pole

Blog

The holiday season in Ellisville is about to become even more magical with a brand new event for families to enjoy. The City of Ellisville invites you to join us for a Sleigh Ride to the North Pole, a festive evening filled with lights, laughter and a touch of winter wonder. This special experience takes place on Friday, December 5, and offers families a chance to step into a world of holiday cheer right here in Bluebird Park.

Children and adults alike will delight in the chance to take a photo with Santa Claus. Santa will be waiting at the North Pole to greet visitors and share in the fun. While the sleigh glides through the park, guests can enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate to keep the cold away. It is the perfect way to set the mood for the holiday season.

However, not everything will be calm at the North Pole. The Grinch plans to make a surprise appearance. He may stir up some silly trouble along the way, adding playful mischief that kids will love. Families can also take part in a candy cane hunt, so bring a flashlight to help you uncover hidden treats scattered throughout the route.

Sleigh ride departure times are 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00 p.m., and all rides begin at the Bluebird Park Administration Building. The fee for the event is 8 dollars per participant, and all guests must pre register to reserve a spot. Since this is an outdoor event and the North Pole is known for cold evenings, warm clothing is strongly encouraged.

Join us as we kick off a season of joy and togetherness. This new tradition promises to bring smiles, excitement and unforgettable memories for Ellisville families.
