[ARCHIVED] July 4th in Ellisville: Live Rock, Delicious BBQ and a Dazzling Fireworks Show

June blog

Get ready to kick off your Independence Day festivities in true Ellisville style! On Friday, July 4, 2025, our community will come together for an unforgettable evening of hometown fun, live music, and dazzling fireworks. Whether you’re a longtime resident or a newcomer, this is the perfect way to celebrate America’s birthday with friends and family.

Rocking Summer Vibes: Griffin and the Gargoyles
Hit Bluebird Park by 7:00 PM to grab a spot for an energetic performance by Griffin and the Gargoyles. Known for their blend of classic rock riffs and modern flair, this band will have everyone swaying along to crowd-pleasing anthems. Feel free to stroll through the BBQ and drink vendor area for a juicy burger, savory ribs, or a refreshing lemonade. With live music setting the mood, you’ll be tapping your toes long before the first note drops.

When the Sky Lights Up
At 9:15 PM, lift your eyes skyward for our Spectacular Fireworks Display. Bursts of color will dance over the park, synchronized to a soundtrack that celebrates our freedoms and shared spirit. Pro tip: bring a cozy blanket or lawn chair so you can relax under the stars and soak in every exploding bloom of red, white, and blue.

Parking Passes for Ellisville Residents
To make your evening hassle-free, Ellisville residents can reserve a limited number of parking passes starting Monday, June 9 at 9:00 AM. Head to ellisville.recdesk.com to secure your spot online or swing by the Park Administration Building in Bluebird Park in person. If you reserve online, don’t forget to pick up your pass between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM any day through Thursday, July 3. Passes are issued on a first-come, first-served basis, so mark your calendar!

A Few Friendly Reminders
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please leave glass bottles and pets at home. With these guidelines in place, we can all focus on good food, great tunes, and spectacular skies.

This Fourth of July, let’s celebrate the freedoms we cherish and the community we love. Bring your neighbors, your picnic blankets, and your patriotic spirit—Ellisville’s Independence Day celebration is one you won’t want to miss!
