[ARCHIVED] Candidate Filing for April 5, 2022 Election

An election will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, to elect a Mayor (four-year term), one Council Member each for District 1 and District 2 (to fill the remaining three years of unexpired terms).  Any Ellisville resident wishing to become a CANDIDATE FOR MAYOR, DISTRICT 1 COUNCIL MEMBER OR DISTRICT 2 COUNCIL MEMBER may do so by filing an application in writing with the City Clerk, or in her absence with the City Manager, at the Ellisville City Hall, #1 Weis Avenue, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, through Tuesday, December 28, 2021, with the following exceptions: City Hall will be closed on Thursday, December 23, 2021 and Friday, December 24, 2021.

 

Applicants for the office of Mayor or Council Member must be at least 21 years of age.  Additionally, all applicants must: (1) be a qualified voter in accordance with State Statutes; (2) be a resident of the City of Ellisville for one year preceding the election; and (3) not owe any unpaid taxes to the City of Ellisville.
