[ARCHIVED] CITY OF ELLISVILLE APRIL 6, 2021 - GENERAL ELECTION FILING PROCEDURES

An election will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, to elect three Council Members, one (1) from each of the three Council Districts. Any Ellisville resident wishing to become a CANDIDATE FOR COUNCIL MEMBER may do so by filing an application in writing with the City Clerk at the Ellisville City Hall, #1 Weis Avenue, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, and 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, with the following exceptions: City Hall will be closed on Thursday, December 24, 2020; Friday, December 25, 2020; Thursday, December 31, 2020; and Friday, January 1, 2021.  In the event the City Hall building is closed due to St. Louis County gathering regulations, please contact the City Clerk to schedule an appointment to complete the filing paperwork.

 

Applicants for the office of Council Member must be at least 21 years of age.  Additionally, all applicants must: (1) be a qualified voter in accordance with State Statutes; (2) be a resident of the City of Ellisville for one year preceding the election; and (3) not owe any unpaid taxes to the City of Ellisville.
