Message from the Mayor


With the COVID-19 Pandemic Situation changing in the state of Missouri and St. Louis County almost daily, I want to provide an update on what the City of Ellisville is doing. Please keep in mind that this once in a lifetime event is a fluid situation and I encourage all residents to keep up on Local news and State and County information sites.


The City of Ellisville is regularly monitoring all direction being given by the Office of the St. Louis County Executive, the Governor and Presidential directives. We are following the “Stay at Home/Shelter in Place” policy. Important exceptions to those guidelines are of course our First Responders, including the police and firefighter/ems personnel, who are working and available 24 hours a day. Healthcare, Pharmacy, Grocery and other essential businesses such as Hardware Stores, Banks, Food Service and Construction sites, to name a few, are also available and working while practicing social distancing. Many of these may have modified operations and/or hours of operation.


Ellisville City Hall is following the guidelines that all Cities are adhering to. Facilities themselves remain closed to the public, except by appointment. Key City Employees are still working daily at City Hall and can be reached during normal business hours 08:30a – 4:30p by telephone (636) 227-9660. You may also find updated guidance, listing of City Services and other important information by visiting our public website https://www.ellisville.mo.us/.


City Parks and trails are still open to the public at this time, however the restrooms, playgrounds, dog park, and tennis courts are closed in the interest of maintaining ...
