[ARCHIVED] Fall Nights Under the Stars in Ellisville

Sept Blog

This October, Ellisville has two can’t-miss events that bring all the fall charm (and maybe a few shooting stars, too!).

Fall Stargazing Night

Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 27 at 7:00 PM in Bluebird Park! Bring the whole family out for an unforgettable evening of stargazing. Volunteers from the St. Louis Astronomical Society will be on hand with telescopes ready, eager to guide you across the night sky.

  • Peer through high-powered telescopes to see stars, planets, and maybe even a galaxy or two.

  • Ask questions and learn from astronomy enthusiasts who know their way around the heavens.

  • Best of all, it’s FREE!

This is the perfect event for kids (and kids-at-heart) to discover the wonders of the universe without leaving town. Don’t forget a blanket or chair to stay cozy while you watch the sky.

Fall Hayride Nights

If stargazing puts the universe in perspective, a hayride keeps us grounded in the joys of autumn! On Thursday evenings (October 2, 9, and 16) at 6:00, 6:45, or 7:30 PM, families are invited to Bluebird Park for an evening of classic fall fun.

  • Climb aboard for a festive hayride through the park.

  • Warm up afterward with hot cocoa and marshmallow roasting by the fire.

  • Enjoy a cozy night filled with laughter, tradition, and a little toasted sugar!

Fee: $10 per person. Pre-registration is required, so be sure to sign up early and reserve your spot.

Whether you’re gazing at the stars or savoring hot cocoa by the fire, Ellisville’s fall nights are made for memory-making. Gather the family, bundle up, and come enjoy the season with us!
