Brush Chippings & Leaf Collection

The City offers an Annual Spring Brush Chipping program which begins in April and a Fall Brush Chipping and Leaf Collection program which begins at the end of September or beginning of October.

Building Permits & Inspections

The Engineering Department performs inspections in a multitude of areas, including building, plumbing, excavation, sewers and demolition. Building Permit applications are now available online.

Code Enforcement

The Engineering Department has a Code Enforcement Officer who administers the Property Maintenance Code throughout the city.

Occupancy Inspections

Prior to a change of occupancy and/or ownership, all properties in the City of Ellisville must have an occupancy inspection performed by the Building Official.

Sewer Lateral Insurance Program

The Sewer Lateral Insurance Program provides insurance coverage to assist homeowners with the cost of repairs to residential sewer lateral service lines.

Tree Trimming

The Public Works staff typically handles tree trimming every fall.
