This morning we had storms pass through Ellisville. Some areas of the community received damage, while other areas did not. The majority of the damage was confined to vegetation; specifically trees.
The first priority for city crews is checking all streets maintained by the city. Public works will remove storm damage from roads and sidewalks to assure safe passage by all.
With the amount of storm damage to vegetation, public works will begin a special storm damage pick up. Please have all tree/brush debris out to the curb by Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Public works will begin a city wide street by street pick up. We are not able to provide a schedule for pickup of tree/brush debris. The schedule will be determined by the amount of material to be picked up. This special one pass pick up is only for storm damage.
You may also take tree/brush debris yourself to the city mulching facility at 553 Old State Road. Limbs should be cut in 4 to 12 foot lengths and can be no thicker than 4 inches in diameter.
We request your patience as we work our way through cleanup. Your Public Works Department.
